About 4 months work went into making this. Mum & I make these for myself over the years as a hobby only, made to fit me. We are NOT professionals so please understand although we only use good quality costume fabrics (not the cheap cosplay plastic fabric types and aim to make as professionally as possible), there maybe some slight inconsistencies in the sewing here and there as we only have home sewing machines not industrial ones!
We aim to make as close as possible to the original movie version.
This costume has been worn 3 times, there is no major damage apart from some slight marks on the bottom of the train cover, the cover is detachable and you re-sew it or tack it back on to protect the outer main train.
You will get the hoop cage, bum bag, petticoat, main dress with train/flower garlands, Wig, gloves and necklace and small detachable flower that attaches to the bodice.
PLEASE NOTE:- The hoop cage will come without the 4 wires as I found it impossible to fold as it was into the parcel box. I've removed the wires and labelled them 1-4, obviously the shortest wires goes at the very top and longest at the bottom, adjust till you've got it right, make sure you don't expend wires to big as I slackened them a little, just thread the wires through the channels on the skirt. if you find when putting the petticoat on that you can't fit it round, then you've expanded the wires out to much.
The fuchsia coloured petticoat is made from cotton and can be washed and Ironed carefully, the main dress is hand wash only, there are hot fix crystals on the tulle skirt but not too many, cool iron required as this is Polyester Taffeta.
DESCRIPTION OF DRESS & FABRICS
Petticoat is made from fuchsia pink coloured cotton poplin and it is fastened with Velcro.
Dress is made from blush pink polyester Taffeta, soft ivory tulle overlay covered in some small Swarovski crystals. Bodice is attached to skirt and closes with zip closure on the back. Bodice has a layer of lace around the neckline decorated with small roses. the skirt has a deep hem so you could unpick the stitches and lower by an extra 5cm's, though you maybe left with slight pin holes on the fabric from the previous stitching row, but shouldn't be too noticeable and an Iron can remove these a little more.
The train consists of a detachable layer of ivory crinkled taffeta fabric that is tacked on with stitches you cut off to wash the train protector, then re-attach with temporary stitches. It has two bustles stuffed with net,(the bustles have been left open encase you need to re-stuff them). and two large flower garlands with ribbons that attach to rings on the skirt.
The gloves are vintage gloves possible from 1950's/60's, made from REAL LEATHER KID this is real leather NOT fake. If you are vegetarian or vegan we will exclude these from the sale for you.
The mask is plastic with attached stick glued on to it.
Ring is just a cheap ring put onto a chain.
Wig was styled by myself it is a skin top effect wig with ties inside, these wigs are much better quality than the cheap fancy dress store wigs you get. I made my own hair flowers and sewed roses into the hair. the wig has NEVER been worn on my won hair I always wear wigs over a wig cap!
Small plastic flower with velcro that attaches to bodice.
This dress doesn't have to be used for the character but anything including bridal.

BODICE ONLY
Bust 31 1/2 inch's MAX! As this was made to not be skin tight but snug to my body!
centre front neckline to hem point is 37cm's
centre back to bodice hem is 19cm's
SKIRT ONLY
WAIST 25 INCH'S
Centre front including waist band is 1 metre 05cm's
centre back including waistband is 1 metre 18cm's
TRAIN
stretched out on the floor from top edge to bottom of train approx 2 metres 22cm's long.
GLOVES
My wrist measures approx 5 1/2 inch's all the way around.
Length 38cm's or 15 inch's measurement around knuckles is 7 inch's
