CINDERELLA CLASSICAL MOVIE GOWN FOR SALE
Inspired by Cinderella
Worn 4 times COSTUME HAS VERY SLIGHT WEAR AND COUPLE OF FAINT MARKS IN PLACES, BUT DOESN'T AFFECT THE OVERALL LOOK. THESE ARE DETAILED BELOW.
PLEASE NOTE PARTS OF THIS COSTUME CANNOT BE WASHED IN A MACHINE DUE TO DELICATE FABRICS AND METAL BONING INSIDE GARMENTS
ALSO I'M A VERY SMALL SIZE & HEIGHT,
APPROX UK SIZE 8-10 (Costume measurements & my measurements are below)
This sale is only for the main costume, headband and gloves, and black lace choker, the wig and crinoline hoop skirt cage are NOT included in the sale, but you can buy crinoline hoops skirts in many places. Mine was a 6 bone or ring one but it was too long for me so it was cut down to only 5 rings.
The costume is worn bes worn with an under vest and corset.
MY MEASUREMENTS
BUST IS 32 INCH'S OR 80-81 1/2 CM'S
WAIST 25 INCH'S OR 64CM'S
HEIGHT 1 METRE 52CM'S or 60 inch's tall (I'm wearing 2.5" heels with this dress as explained below).
Dress measurements as follows:-
WHITE PETTICOAT
Made from a polyester crepe cotton type fabric, edged with wide iridescent floral lace.
The waistband as can be seen, is only a thick Grey ribbon tie, this is adjustable it will go up to 28 inch's but will leave a slightly larger gap at the back though won't be seen as it's underneath.
Length 37 inch's or 94cm's long from top of waistband edge to hem of skirt. I am wearing 2.5" inch high heels with this dress, so I have another 6.5cm's added to my height.
This could be washed and ironed carefully with cool iron
OUTER SKIRT
This has three layers, under layer is a Blue polyester voile chiffon type fabric, middle layer is 100% silk dyed very pale Blue, so can't be washed for that reason as the dye will run out. The outer skirt is made from very pale blue crystal organza, very floaty and lightweight, I hand stamped some pale blue roses onto the fabric in places and also added some blue rose motif's, it also has some pale blue Swarovski crystals added in places as well.
Waistband is adjustable as it has another set of hooks & eyes, so will got up to 27" waist. length from top of waistband 42" inch's long or 1m 7cm's.
The skirt has some tiny minor marks in places but they are faint, mainly on the middle layer of silk.
BODICE
Made from pale blue Satin Brocade, this fabric was imported from the USA so a bit costly to get it as it can't be bought here. It is boned with metal boning and lined in cotton.It has piping along the bottom edge, lace collar, and ivory polyester satin padded sleeves to keep their shape.
It has hook & eye opening down the back, though over time 3 of the hooks on the inside have rusted a little and that rust slightly bled onto the fabric edge, but it's on the inside where you can't see it. It also has two Ivory satin peplems sewn each side to the bodice inside (see photos), edged with lace, and decorated in a few peach coloured Swarovksi crystals.
Bust must be no more than 31.5 inch's, 80cm's I'm very flat chested
Front centre top to bottom edge to very bottom point where the bottom of the "v" is, 15" inch's or 38cm's.
Side from under armhole to hem "9" inch's or 23cm's
Centre back from top edge to bottom of hem point, is 172 inch's or 43cm's.
Waist up to 27" inch's or 71cm's
The next part is important as this measurement is taken all the way around sleeve circumference at points below means your arm measurement at those points must be slightly smaller to fit into the sleeve
Inside armhole Sleeve circumference 15 inch's or 38cm's
Outside arm hole of sleeve is 14" inch's or 35cm's.
CHOKER
Made from black lace, decorated with a few black crystals
Length 31 1/2cm's.
WHITE SATIN GLOVES
Standard party shop type gloves, average size.
HEADBAND
standard size headband hand covered with the same fabric used on the Bodice and decorated with plain Blue glass gems. The headband has two gems each side, but one has fallen out, you could easily find some more and re-glue in place.
