Elsa Shoes
and Wig
and Wig
As I can't wear high heels, or shoes without straps because of my very narrow feet, I decided to use the same design as the ones I made for Cinderella Everafter. First I removed the beads that came with the shoe, then using the same material as the skirt, stretched the fabric over the shoe and used the Tulip Glitter bond glue. I pulled the material down over the heel and when the whole shoe was dry, used a sharp model knife to cut off the material at the heel.
I pulled the material underneath the shoe and stuck it down. This will be cut later.
I bought some stick on soles off the internet. With a sharp knife, cut the sole to fit the shoe, then using a knife, make a cut in the fabric about 1cm in from the edge and remove any fabric underneath where the sole is going to be. Using Epoxy resin, glue the sole on and cut around the base of the heel and remove the fabric as well.
I spent quite some time experimenting with different shaped snowflakes to wrap around the shoes and finally decided on these shapes. The pieces were cut from white craft foam and I used turquoise glitter for the bottom, a light blue for the middle and a darker blue for the top. You will find all the items used on my video.
It was a bit plain as it was, so I cut out an additional snowflake for the front and covered it in Jasper Blue glitter, then using several elastic bands, let it set overnight.
I got some blue dye for the strap, which will be cut shorter. And of course, it wouldn't be a Tracy costume without Swarovski, so I used approximately 200 x 4mm and 50 x 3mm Light Turquoise crystals to decorate.
This completes the shoes.
