MOANA COSTUME FOR SALE SIZE UK 8-10
PLEASE READ ALL INFO!! FIRST PLEASE NOTE I'M A VERY SMALL SIZE & HEIGHT APPROX UK SIZE 8-10 (my measurements are below) I CAN SELL THE MAIN COSTUME ONLY (EXCLUDES WIG & HEAD LEI OR JUST THE HEAD LEI & WIG) (Ore paddle/necklace & chicken toy has sold, so not included)!
Been trying to sell this for about 3 years now, though due to my small measurements has made it difficult so i've lowered the price so much now, i'm practically giving it away. In excellent condition, only worn twice now major damage.
This whole costume took about 3-4 months to make, it was made from higher quality dress fabrics! The Grass skirt is made from REAL Raffia dried Grass in a mixture of two colour tones, Ivory and Beige.
The main Ivory skirt is Ivory/White, with huge attention to detail. It's made from some medium weight basket weave type man made fabric, slightly weighty, this is NOT light weight skirt! Velcro fastening on skirt front overlap.
The embroidered metallic gold stars were hand drawn on the computer for a special embroidery programme we had at the time, and embroidered on our embroidery machine as appliqués, then hand sewn to skirt, The Brown stitching detail was done entirely by hand by myself.
Bodice & sash were made from an expensive bark weave type fabric, I hand dyed in Terracotta Rusty Orange/Red. I hand painted the main Brown design onto both. Bodice is boned on bust seams only. Has a Hook & eye closure at top as well as four ties down the back to hold it in place. BODICE HAD TO BE MADE TIGHT TO STAY ON ME! Bodice top hem, consists of Two rows of REAL Cowrie sea shells each individually hand sewn on. The bodice Brown trim entirely made up by hand over 2 days, painstakingly!! Bodice and sash are both lined, Velcro fastening on the sash.
This item needs care due to delicate nature of fabrics, these are not the plastic types of fabric on cheap cosplay garments you can buy. an preferably to be stores flat, IT CANNOT BE WASHED EITHER! In all the years we've never seen a Moana costume made to this high standard quality, Such details costumes made to this standard and especially with a lot of hand only sewing and no machine involvement half the time, would set you back a few hundred pound more than asking price, I appreciated that I'm very small so hence why the price is much less as I'm under average adult size and stayed at teenage sizes!
